Acquisition of a 256-unit rent-stabilized apartment complex that was deeply embroiled in litigation between partners. The property suffered from substantial deferred maintenance and occupancy issues as a result of neglect and mismanagement. Since acquisition, nearly all of the units have been turned and gut renovated and rents have more than doubled while expenses have been stabilized.
